Parents’ Council

As well as a PTA the school operates a Parent’s Council. This Council makes a positive contribution to moving the school forward and offers another avenue for parents to share their views and ideas.

The Council aims to meet once a term (6 times a year) and is made up of the headteacher, a link governor and parent volunteers. All parents can liaise with the council by talking to individual council members, emailing a dedicated email account or by putting a suggestion or note in the box in the school foyer. Parents are welcome to ask questions, put forward suggestions, respond to events and initiatives in school and more, all for the benefit of the school community.

Parents whose children attend the school have the minutes of the meeting emailed to them if they are registered with Parentmail or a hard copy if not.
